1978 VW beetle (For Sale)

We have a film star at Carrosserie!  The 1978 VW Beetle from the film Sulphur and White sent to us from London to tidy up.  Sulphur and White is the story of the life of David Tait MBE, Ambassador for NSPCC.

David has climbed Everest an incredible five times in the last 10 years and raised over £1 million for NSPCC.  Every stream of the film raises money for the NSPCC.

In the film, the car was driven by Joanne Tait, played by Anna Friel.  And as you can see the poor car had a rough time with cameras and equipment strapped on it’s side.

It came to us to have the paintwork freshened up, a new vinyl hood custom made and a few bits of mechanical and suspension work done to it.

If you would like to find out a bit more, or would like to arrange a viewing of the Beetle, then go to the ‘For Sale’ page here for more details.

Buying or restoring a classic car isn’t an end, it’s the start of a long term relationship with a living piece of history with a past, present and future all of its own. If you’re ready to start that journey, why not get in touch with the team at The Carrosserie Company?
