Each element of your vehicle’s mechanical parts, from the engine itself to the gearbox and clutch, will be treated with the care and attention it deserves, meticulously cleaned and numbered using time-honoured procedures that would have been familiar to the vehicle’s original builders. Our engineers work on our own custom designed bench, perfectly suited to the way we work, and every engine receives a minimum of 40 hours of testing before being installed into your car. It’s not the easy way, but it’s the right way, and it ensures your car has been put through its paces before we hand it back to your care.
Our engineering team always takes a holistic approach to restoring and rebuilding your vehicle, and ‘good enough’ isn’t in our vocabulary. Whatever is required, including: Fully re-building and overhauling a gearbox, stripping and cleaning an entire engine to re-assemble it from scratch, completely overhauling and replacing a broken clutch. We specialise in total ‘nut and bolt’ restorations of cars that require a lot of care and attention, and over our many years of operation we have worked on some of the most sought after and rarest models out there, including some totally unique models that exist nowhere else. Our engineers love working with the older, rarer and more exotic vehicles, but at the end of the day every car that passes through our care receives the same level of fastidious service as the rest, because every car we service is a passion project.
