Here is an update on the 1970 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow we have been working on.

Back at the end of March, the car went from primer to final coat.  There is a lot of hidden work at that point.

One of the reasons we are Novol partners (our paint supplier) is that they offer a complete range of products that are guaranteed to work together.

One example of this is stone chip.  An incredibly resilient coat for the underside of cars, and for exposed areas like wheel arches.

It is a rubberised coating that sprays on by gun and gives a very strong layer to resist attacks from flying stones.  It can then be covered with the final colour, to match in with the rest of the car.

As well as protection, it offers additional soundproofing to make the finished ride in this Rolls even more relaxing than when it came out of the showroom.

Yet another way in which we look after your classic and make it better than new.

Have a look at the photos here, scroll down to 6th May 2026 to see the car coming back together.

It still has the glass to go back in, but the face is back to how it should be!

A majestic British classic, looking good as it turns 56 years old!

Thanks and have a great weekend,
